The GlobalWise software engineering team developed the new module over an 18-month period from initial design to product release. The IntellivueGX™ capture module is a powerful framework that offers very attractive features to existing and prospective clients. The IntellivueGX™ capture module uses EMC's latest Pixtools ISIS software interface for scanning device support and image processing. ISIS provides a consistent and stable way to communicate with scanning devices which is very important to GlobalWise's growing set of channel partners and customers.

The IntellivueGX™ capture module has the power and flexibility to support all document scanning, direct content import, advanced image processing, and data extraction into both IntelliCloud™ and premise-based configurations. In addition, it fulfills other critical partner and client needs for cloud-ready capture, ease of installation, use and affordability. In addition, IntellivueGX™ can be used to apply advanced image processing and data extraction of images scanned by multi-function devices, eliminating the complexity, cost, and training requirements typically associated with third party add-ons that must be directly installed/licensed per device.
