SAN JOSE, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 11/20/13 -- RiverMeadow Software Inc., developer of the world's only automated server migration platform for carrier and service provider clouds, today announced the appointment of Carlos Granda (@grandacarlos) to the newly-created role of Executive Vice President of Worldwide Services. In this role, Mr. Granda will be responsible for the development of RiverMeadow's new professional services team, and initiatives designed to enable and certify the company's partner ecosystem.
Mr. Granda's initial focus will be to recruit and develop a partner enablement organization chartered to deliver professional services best practices to the channel. The Worldwide Services team will develop cloud migration IP, methodologies and repeatable cloud adoption best practices and services, which will be delivered to customers by RiverMeadow partners. Mr. Granda will report to President and CEO Mark Shirman.

He most recently served as Vice President of Global Services for BMC Software, where he focused on improved operational excellence and best practices, achieving both increased customer satisfaction and business profitability. Prior to joining BMC, Mr. Granda led Professional Services for the Americas at VMware with a focus on virtualization and cloud solutions. He also served as Worldwide Vice President of Professional Services at BEA/ORACLE with responsibility for overall services strategy, consulting, education and global architecture team.
