SANTA CLARA, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 11/21/13 -- AccelOps, Inc., the analytics-driven IT Operations and cloud management leader, announced today that it has hired Rick Ainsworth, a former Oracle executive, as vice president of worldwide sales.

Ainsworth comes to AccelOps after four years at Oracle. Based in London as vice president of sales, EMEA, he created the company's Data Integration Solutions division in Europe in 2010, managing all data integration sales, presales and business development teams across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He grew the division's revenues from $9 million to more than $100 million within two years.

Prior to Oracle, Ainsworth led worldwide sales at GoldenGate Software, the industry's leading provider of data integration solutions. Ainsworth developed and executed a multi-faceted go-to-market strategy, combining direct, channel, and inside sales to deliver 875 percent revenue growth during his tenure there. He led the sales integration into Oracle when the company was acquired in 2009.

Prior to GoldenGate, Ainsworth was vice president of worldwide sales at ACI Worldwide, which offers retail and wholesale banking software, and national sales director at Mozart Systems, maker of client/server and cooperative processing development software.

Ainsworth holds a B.A. in political science/international relations from UCLA.
