WASHINGTON, DC -- (Marketwired) -- 12/12/13 -- Metalogix, a leading provider of content infrastructure software to improve the use and performance of enterprise content on Microsoft SharePoint, Exchange, File and Cloud platforms, today announced Metalogix Email Migrator 2.0 that allows organizations to migrate from two new legacy sources including Mimosa and GFI email archives. In addition, the company is providing a special offer for the free email migration of archived or non-archived email to Metalogix Archive Manager Exchange Edition. Now organizations can escape legacy email platforms -- including GFI, Symantec Enterprise Vault, Mimosa, EMC and Exchange -- on-premises or in the cloud. The free migration offer is valid until December 28, 2013.
Metalogix Email Migrator 2.0 streamlines the move from legacy email archives that are costly, limiting and slow performing to a dynamic archive that can adapt easily to today's changing business requirements. Metalogix Archive Manager Exchange Edition securely, efficiently and scalably retains and protects global enterprise email to improve user productivity, conserve valuable IT resources and budgets while minimizing compliance and litigation risk.
"Many organizations feel trapped on their legacy email archive platform and struggle to justify the high costs of their ongoing maintenance, renewal and management expenses," said Matthew Bruendl-Pandzich, Director of Archiving Business Unit, Metalogix. "Now, no company needs to feel 'locked-in' when it comes to their email archive. At Metalogix, we make it easy to escape the constraints of legacy platforms by offering migration freedom with a flexible, adaptive solution that enables migrations to and from the archive of choice, as well as to and from the cloud."
Traditional email archiving solutions use outdated technology that often bloats servers, slows performance and adds high and unnecessary hardware, renewal and management costs. By migrating to a next-generation email archive, organizations can benefit from improved end user transparency while assuring future compatibility and support.
Offering the ability to maintain all existing policies, the Metalogix Email Migrator 2.0 enables organizations to move from costly legacy platforms to a next-generation, cost effective platform without limits. The high-speed, totally scalable solution delivers options for on-premises or cloud migrations and can carry out even the most complex migrations with full chain of custody reporting. Its parallel management features enable IT organizations to manage an existing environment while migrating for zero impact on end user productivity.
The free migration offer is available for a limited time through December 28, 2013. It currently supports migrations from GFI, Symantec Enterprise Vault, Mimosa NearPoint, EMC EmailXtender and Microsoft Exchange to on-premises or cloud deployments. New sources and targets are being added on a regular basis.
