ALEXANDRIA, VA -- (Marketwired) -- 01/06/14 -- Phase2, the digital content strategy, design and technology experts, today announced the addition to its team of six developers and designers formerly employed by SuperStar Media, as well as its continued expansion in Portland, Oregon. The hiring is a reflection of the firm's increasing user experience, design and front-end development expertise, allowing it to not only create more innovative design solutions, but also to further provide services to a greater array of influential clients on the West Coast.

SuperStar Media, an interactive media agency specializing in Drupal, design and production, has worked closely with Phase2 on several client projects throughout 2013. Members of the Portland-based company were hired as permanent employees at Phase2 on January 1st, and SuperStar has closed its doors to help expand Phase2's visual design and technical capabilities in both front- and back-end development.

SuperStar Media's co-owners, Joey Groh and Sean Kelley, closed down operations, seeing Phase2 as a strategic move for both the company and its team. Joey will join Phase2, while Sean will pursue a new entrepreneurial venture.
