MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 01/14/14 -- Gridstore, the leader in software-defined storage (SDS) optimized for Windows Server with Hyper-V today announced its sponsorship participation at the 8th annual VTUG Winter Warmer 2014. The industry leading Virtualization Technology Users Group (VTUG) meeting is being held January 16, 2014 at the Gillette Stadium, One Patriot Place, Foxborough, MA. Gridstore will be showcasing their industry leading software-defined storage solutions that dramatically improve application performance in virtual environments.
Gridstore CEO George Symons will also be leading numerous breakout sessions titled Optimized Storage for Hyper-V Virtualized Environments, leading the delegates through the myriad nuances of best-practices for exploiting the full potential of Hyper-V storage options. The breakout sessions will be held on the Red level of the Gillette Stadium, Room 25 at 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30 p.m.
VTUG, the only platform independent virtualization users group, provides a forum for IT professionals to hear from industry leaders and interact with a wide array of vendors including Microsoft, VMware, Citrix and Red Hat. This year's event will feature keynote presentations from Amazon and Microsoft.
Gridstore's revolutionary new software-defined storage solution, Gridstore 3.0, was purpose-built to address the architectural disconnect between traditional storage and virtualization. The product solves a critical issue -- the degraded performance caused by traditional storage in a Windows Server Hyper-V environment. Gridstore 3.0 accelerates Hyper-V applications by up to 500%, while offering an affordable pay-as-you-scale pricing structure.

ABOUT Gridstore
Gridstore is the leader in software-defined storage optimized for Windows Servers and Hyper-V that accelerates application I/O. All traditional storage suffers from the I/O blender that severely impacts application performance in virtual environments. Gridstore is Software Defined Storage that uses patented Server-Side Virtual Controller Technology (SVCT) to eliminate the I/O blender and accelerate applications in three unique ways.
1. vmOptimized Storage provides self-optimizing storage stacks that accelerate I/O for each application.
2. TrueQoS is the industry's only end-to-end Storage QoS that guarantees performance for your most important applications.
3. GridScale is a simple, pay-as-you-scale grid architecture with massively parallel performance scaling that accelerates application I/O.
