SAN JOSE, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 01/15/14 -- RiverMeadow Software Inc., developer of the world's only automated server migration platform for carrier and service provider clouds, today announced that Jeff Samberg and Dr. Alastair MacWillson have joined the company's Board of Directors. As board members, Mr. Samberg and Dr. MacWillson will utilize their experience with a number of leading, innovative technology companies and play a key role in managing and directing the operation of the organization.

Mr. Samberg is the managing member of Acadia Woods Partners, LLC, a New York-based investment partnership that focuses primarily on early-stage technology companies. Previously, he held a number of high-technology management roles, including Vice President of Corporate Strategy for PeopleSoft Inc., Vice President of Business Development for Wily Technology and Entrepreneur in Residence for Greylock Partners. Mr. Samberg received his MBA from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business and his B.A. with high honors in economics from Princeton University.
Dr. MacWillson was formerly the global managing director in charge of Accenture technology and security business, and for 23 years has worked with business and government leaders around the world on critical issues such as technology strategy, transformation, security, trust, privacy and compliance. He also served on the leadership team of Accenture's global Technology & Delivery service line. His primary areas of expertise include global security, information security, business and operational risk, and technology transformation and setting the technology vision. Dr. MacWillson earned a B.Sc Hons. in physics from London University, followed by a Ph.D. in theoretical physics. He also holds a D.Phil. related to research in applied cryptography and Postgraduate Diplomas in Computer Science and Digital Imaging, with a Management Diploma from IMD in Lausanne.
