Xeround's add-on provides .NET and PHP developers using these platforms with a zero-management, highly available and scalable cloud database solution in just one click.

Xeround's add-on on AppHarbor and AppFog platforms provides simple one-click integration between the applications hosted on these platforms and Xeround's Database-as-a-Service. From the users' perspective, all they need to do is add the add-on to their application from within their environment. This automatically creates a MySQL-compatible cloud database that easily connects to their application.

Unlike other database solutions, Xeround is the only true native cloud database -- engineered specifically for the unique cloud environment thus avoiding the pitfalls of a traditional MySQL installation in the cloud.

Xeround is already available as an add-on for Heroku and Engine Yard and is also running on Amazon EC2 and Rackspace, as well as on HP Cloud Services in beta. This latest AppHarbor and PHP Fog integration marks Xeround's continued expansion to additional cloud platforms.

Xeround's add-on on AppHarbor is available in Xeround's FREE, BASIC and PRO plans as a complete end-to-end solution for seamlessly developing MySQL applications in the cloud. PHP Fog users will initially only be offered in the FREE version, soon to expand to additional plans to enable automatic scaling and more robust features.
