SAN DIEGO, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 02/12/14 -- Tealium®, the No.1 provider of enterprise tag management and an innovator of solutions to help marketers unify the customer journey and drive more profitable digital interactions, today announced it has added two senior executives to help the company scale global operations amidst record sales and customer growth. Tracy Hansen, formerly of CA Technologies and NetApp, was appointed as CMO; Doug Lindroth, formerly of Limelight Networks and Memec, was appointed as CFO. Both executives join Tealium with strong track records of accelerating global growth and building category leaders.
"Tracy and Doug are seasoned leaders of high-growth technology companies and their experience will help accelerate our growth worldwide, while maintaining the quality-of-experience and customer focus that have earned us the market leadership position in enterprise tag management and digital data distribution," said Jeff Lunsford, CEO of Tealium.
Hansen brings more than 15 years of marketing expertise to Tealium, recently serving as the Senior Vice President of Marketing at CA Technologies, where she helped build the company's brand vision and re-position itself in the marketplace. Prior to that, Hansen was at NetApp, where she rose to the position of Vice President of Marketing over a 12-year tenure, helping guide the company to the dominant market position it holds today. While at NetApp, Hansen served as Senior Director of Interactive Marketing, giving her in-depth exposure to the digital marketing complexity and data unification issues that many marketers face today -- and are now solving through Tealium's market-leading solutions.
"For years, digital marketers have heard about the promise of integrated marketing and how technology would improve customer engagement and interaction, yet it always seemed like a future possibility. Now, with Tealium's innovation in tag management and customer segmentation, this vision is a reality," Hansen said. "Tealium eliminates data silos and strips away multi-vendor complexities, allowing marketers to better focus on their customers' needs and improve ROI. I couldn't be more excited to help accelerate Tealium's momentum in the marketplace and build upon the success already achieved by this organization."
Lindroth brings nearly 25 years of global financial experience to Tealium, including eight years as a public company CFO and board member. Lindroth served with Lunsford on the board of directors of WebSideStory (which was acquired by Omniture, and is now part of the Adobe Marketing Cloud) and as CFO of Limelight Networks. From 2003 to 2006, Lindroth was CFO and a board member of Memec Group, which was sold to Avnet. Lindroth started his career at KPMG.
Fueled by sales of Tealium's market-leading tag management solution and the September launch of Tealium® AudienceStream, an audience segmentation and data distribution platform, Tealium achieved a record year in 2013. It increased revenue 140 percent from the previous year and more than doubled its enterprise customer base worldwide. Tealium now has hundreds of customers on five different continents, representing thousands of top brands. Other recent highlights include:
