SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 02/20/14 -- SpiderOak, the 'zero-knowledge' privacy cloud technologies provider, is pleased to announce its second web privacy event entitled Crypto-Think II. This interactive event will offer participants a chance to share ideas and lead discussion around data security, browser advancements, the cloud and the future of privacy on the Internet.

Crypto-Think II will take place the day of February 24 in San Francisco, on the eve of this year's RSA Conference, and is being co-sponsored by the 'Zero-Knowledge' Privacy Foundation, a nonprofit organization devoted to promoting the right to privacy online.

"Near-daily reports of data breaches and increasing public knowledge of government surveillance practices have awakened people and businesses to the importance of extending privacy to the web," said SpiderOak CEO and Co-Founder Ethan Oberman. Participants are invited to bring a slide deck (10 to 20 minutes plus discussion) on web privacy pitfalls, triumphs and nightmares. Lunch will be served, and the event will be followed by a party from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
