The Salvation Army is an international Christian organization that began its work in Canada in 1882 and has grown to become the largest non-governmental direct provider of social services in the country. As a dispersed organization with complex financial, reporting and receipting requirements, The Salvation Army requires distributed access to systems while maintaining central control for reporting and analytics. It has to account for multiple currencies, languages and countries, each with their own reporting requirements.
