SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA -- (Marketwired) -- 03/20/14 -- Anti-malware specialist Malwarebytes today announces the appointment of Mark Harris as Chief Financial Officer. Mark joins the company from mobile software provider SEVEN Networks, where he was accountable for group financial operations across US, Asia and Europe. Harris adds his 25 years of international financial experience with both public and private companies to the expanding senior management team at Malwarebytes.

Mark will have responsibility for all financial matters including supporting the rapid growth of the business and contributing to both strategic and expansion planning. As part of the role, he will also be tasked with maximizing revenue growth across both consumer and enterprise operations to drive increased value from the company's diverse product set.

Prior to SEVEN, Mark was Chief Financial Officer at Nimsoft during a period of more than 700% bookings growth. He oversaw two funding rounds led by Goldman Sachs and JMI Equity before its acquisition by CA Technologies for a near record multiple of $360 million in March 2010. As Chief Financial Officer of Riversoft Plc. he helped to grow a small private firm to a publicly listed company with a successful $150m IPO.
