The ONX Conference, a new event dedicated to the latest technical approaches to Software Defined Networking (SDN) -- including network virtualization, runs May 13-14, 2014. Session Summary: In this session, Adam Johnson will cover how distributed network virtualization overlays (NVOs) can harden OpenStack deployments, speed up provisioning, and also allow for massive scale. Adam will also provide an overview of Midokura's distributed NVO solution, MidoNet, highlighting the architecture and how it integrates with OpenStack to provide distributed networking services such as Security Groups, Routing, NAT and layer 2 networks. What's more, Adam will discuss how MidoNet and Cumulus Linux can connect physical servers into a NVO.
