SAN JOSE, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 06/02/14 -- A10 Networks (NYSE: ATEN), a technology leader in application networking, today announced that Kirsten Lee, vice president of worldwide channels, and Maria Jacobson, director of worldwide channel marketing, have been named to the 2014 CRN Women of the Channel. The annual list highlights the accomplishments of female executives within vendor, distribution, and solution provider organizations, and the impact they are having on the advancement of the IT channel industry as a whole. Additionally, Lee is recognized as one of this year's Power 100, which spotlights those female executives at vendor and distributor organizations whose insight and influence in their respective companies help drive channel success.
Lee, who brings over 20 years of channel experience to her role, defined the strategy and launched the new three-tiered A10 Affinity Partner Program, which is designed to motivate and reward A10's channel partners that sell the company's application service gateway products. During Lee's time at A10, the company has made a significant investment in expanding channel sales and marketing resources, creating substantial revenue potential with partners.
Jacobson uses her 20 years of channel experience to forge stronger relationships with channel partners. Through her leadership, A10 Networks has grown role-based training for partner sales and systems engineers (SEs), deal registration, and marketing development funds (MDF) programs. This gives increased visibility to all three A10 Thunder Series product lines: Application Delivery Controller (ADC), Threat Protection System (TPS), and Carrier Grade Networking (CGN).
"These female executives have risen in the ranks of their organizations and are leaving their indelible mark on the technology channel. We celebrate their many contributions and the varied ways in which they help solution providers grow and thrive every day," said Robert Faletra, CEO, The Channel Company. "We congratulate the Women of the Channel, and look forward to their continued success."
"A10 Networks is thrilled to see Kirsten Lee and Maria Jacobson recognized as 2014 CRN Women of the Channel," said Ray Smets, A10 Networks vice president of worldwide sales. "They have dramatically and quickly advanced our partner program. Kirsten and Maria have really championed A10 channel growth and driven partner competencies and portfolios across the company. Congratulations to these two true channel professionals for this well-deserved industry recognition."
A special feature of the Women of the Channel is in the June issue of CRN magazine and expanded coverage of the Power 100 will be featured online at www.crn.com.
