TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 06/24/14 -- Compugen and SRG Security Resource Group Inc. (SRG) announced today their plans to enter into an agreement whereby SRG will provide a comprehensive set of Managed Security Services to Compugen clients in Western Canada.

A significant portion of all security services are now being delivered via external managed services providers. According to Gartner research, the value of IT managed security services is forecast to grow from $12 billion in 2013 to $22.5 billion in 2017. The increase in demand for managed security services is largely due to the growing threat of security incidents and the need for organizations to efficiently improve their service levels to customers and employees.

Compugen's Managed Security Services is directed at such organizations, and will be jointly delivered in Western Canada by Compugen and SRG.
