RapidMiner Appoints Marcus Adams as Head of Channels and Alliances for EMEA

Partner Enablement Specialist to Provide Expertise to Drive Channel Partnerships and Accelerate Growth via the RapidMiner Partner Network

BOSTON, MA -- (Marketwired) -- 06/25/14 -- Pioneering predictive analytics leader RapidMiner today announced it has appointed Marcus Adams as the company's head of channels and alliances for the EMEA region. Adams brings a wealth of channel experience to the company and will spearhead RapidMiner's partner network expansion across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. In this role, he will focus on growing the company's network of resellers, distributors and partners in EMEA. Responsibilities include increasing revenue growth through the management and expansion of RapidMiner's network of systems integrator and consulting partners, extending RapidMiner's presence via resellers, further developing RapidMiner's OEM channel and managing strategic technology alliances.

With over a decade of channel roles in U.K. and global partner enablement, as well as presales roles behind him, Adams is a highly experienced channel sales and alliance executive with a proven record for delivering revenue-focused results and maintaining valuable and productive relationships with partners across all facets of the channel.

Previously, Adams was the senior manager for global partner enablement at business intelligence specialist Qlik (previously QlikTech), where he was tasked with the planning, execution and readiness of the technical components of the company's global partner enablement framework across more than 20 countries. Adams has also held positions in presales with consultancy Ciber, was group IT manager for Source BioScience and was U.K. IS manager for Ecolab.
