DETROIT, MI -- (Marketwired) -- 07/07/14 -- Detroit-based LevelEleven, a leader in sales gamification, has expanded its board of directors to now include software executive Zack Urlocker. Silicon Valley-based Urlocker is an investor, advisor and board member with over twenty years of experience in the software industry. LevelEleven has been waiting for the right candidate to fill this board seat since launch and found the ideal new member in Urlocker based not only on his enterprise SaaS expertise, but his intrigue in LevelEleven.
"I've worked with a lot of early stage companies, so immediately after speaking with Bob Marsh and the LevelEleven team I realized I wanted to play a role in LevelEleven's development," said Urlocker. "Every company I know is looking to improve the performance of their sales organizations and LevelEleven is demonstrating tremendous ROI for their clients."
Urlocker has helped scale revenues in startups from under $6 million to over $100 million leading to several successful IPOs and exits. Recently Urlocker has served as Executive In Residence for Scale Venture Partners. He has held executive positions at MySQL, Active Software, and was Chief Operating Officer at Zendesk, a high growth SaaS company.
"We couldn't have found a better suited board member for LevelEleven than Zack Urlocker," said Bob Marsh, CEO of LevelEleven. "Not only is he experienced with high growth startups, but his enterprise SaaS knowledge is key, as we continue to expand and enhance the LevelEleven app."
Urlocker joins a top tier roster of entrepreneurs, founders and leaders including Josh Linkner, founder of HelloWorld, New York Times bestselling author and four-time entrepreneur; Jake Cohen, co-founder of eatBlue.com, Ugrub.com and Ubars.com; and Rick Inatome, managing director at Sterling Partners and well known computer industry pioneer.
