SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 03/29/12 -- New Relic, Inc., the SaaS-based cloud application performance management provider, today announced a new partnership with Cedexis, the real-time Cloud Routing Service. Under the terms of the partnership, Cedexis has integrated its Revolutionary Traffic Management and Load Balancing Platform, Fusion, with New Relic's data api. This allows Cedexis customers to pull in application performance data into Openmix and take action based on the current performance status of their application. In addition, to facilitate the integration, Cedexis is offering all customers New Relic Standard free of charge.
Cedexis is a real-time Cloud Routing Service that uses community-based global performance monitoring to find the fastest path to your content and applications every second, around the world. Cedexis Openmix provides a revolutionary approach to DNS-based Global Traffic Management/Global Server Load Balancing (GTM/GSLB), providing a means of ingesting real-time data from various sources, through Fusion datafeeds, and exposing this data for evaluation on each request. The Cedexis platform now allows developers to take advantage of New Relic application performance data in Openmix so that they can dynamically adjust their cloud routing decisions based on live, actionable app performance data.
"At Cedexis, we are committed to delivering the best possible performance to users by intelligently routing traffic to the best delivery platform -- at any given time and place," said Greg Unrein, director of products at Cedexis. "Leveraging data collected by New Relic helps us and our customers do just that."
"Cedexis and New Relic share the common goal of providing developers with the tools that give them unparalleled visibility and control over global web and cloud deployments," said Bill Lapcevic, vice president of business development at New Relic. "The tight integration of New Relic data by Cedexis maximizes the customer and end user experience by allowing developers around the world to quickly adjust to the changing speed of the Internet, using application data to help automatically optimize web traffic for highest performance."
Cedexis customers can start using New Relic with Openmix today by signing up for a free New Relic Standard account and adding their New Relic account credentials in the Cedexis portal. Then they simply associate New Relic with your platforms and update your Openmix applications to pull in your New Relic data.
