The integration with MobileIron allows users to strengthen mobile device policy management and enforcement, simplify the roll out of advanced mobile security and lower operational costs.

With Lacoon and MobileIron, users can:

• Strengthen Mobile Device Policy Management and Enforcement: Once a compromised device is detected, Lacoon can trigger a series of enforcement activities to mitigate the effect of the malware on the infected device and corporate assets. These include:
  • Threat-Based Mitigation Actions: Instructing MobileIron to remove or block access to applications/content from the device.
  • Active Protection: Adding a layer of protection from Lacoon that blocks the communication between the attacker and the infected device to prevent any data exfiltration until full remediation can be done by the IT team.
    
    
• Simplify the Roll out of Advanced Mobile Security: The integrated solution simplifies ongoing management and maintenance of your mobility initiatives, enabling users to quickly and easily:
  • Add Devices: New devices will be automatically protected by Lacoon as soon as they are in active mode within the MobileIron system. When a new device is added, an email is automatically sent to the user with registration instructions that detail how to install and activate the Lacoon client.
  • Remove Devices: Devices will also be automatically deleted from Lacoon's protection once they have been removed or retired from MobileIron.
  • Keep Policies Up to Date: The system will periodically check for device updates with MobileIron and update Lacoon devices according to policy enforcement across the enterprise.
  • Enforce Security Measures: MobileIron can be configured to enforce enrolled devices to install the Lacoon client by setting it as a required application. If the Lacoon client is not installed, the device is blocked from accessing corporate resources. This ensures a consistent security stance across devices and supports enterprise compliance requirements.
