BARCELONA, SPAIN -- (Marketwired) -- 10/28/14 -- TechEd Europe 2014 -- CohesiveFT, a cloud native networking and security company, today announced VNS3, their award-winning software-only cloud networking and security appliance, is now Microsoft Azure Certified and available in the Microsoft Azure Marketplace. With VNS3 cloud networking, Azure customers can connect, integrate and secure their cloud-based applications.

VNS3 offers customers enhanced network services on top of the Azure network including VLAN peering, encryption, firewall, multicast support and region peering. The cloud networking software provides layer 4-7 services using the Docker container system allowing customers to create their own "in mesh" application plugins. Common VNS3 use cases range from customers creating a simple VPN tunnel to building distributed cloud networks for SSL termination, middleware load balancing, intrusion/extrusion detection, and high availability.
Availability
Azure customers can easily find, purchase and deploy VNS3 from the Azure Marketplace. Both the Free and Lite Editions are available as virtual machines listed in the Azure Certified and Networking Marketplace categories. The certification also ensures technical compatibility for customers bringing their existing VNS3 deployments to run on Azure.
