Together the three bring decades of experience in executive sales, business strategy, product management and customer service from leading enterprise companies, Okta, Gartner, Oracle and HP, among others. In addition Palerra announced the hiring of Upa Hazarika as Senior Director of Marketing and Strategy.

With these personnel additions, Palerra brings to market a seasoned and well-rounded executive team with a balanced understanding of market needs, technology architectures and customer advocacy.

• Sunil Sampat brings almost 20 years of enterprise software sales experience to Palerra. Most recently Sunil served as VP of Eastern Region Sales for Okta. Additionally, he brings deep sales leadership experience from his stints at growing and scaling various enterprise ventures including Endeca (acquired by Oracle Corporation), Worklight (acquired by IBM) and Edify (acquired by S1 Corporation).
• As VP of Products, Alan Bavosa, will lead all product strategy and product management-related activities -- from inception to execution and ongoing product lifecycle management. Prior to Palerra, Alan served as Senior Director of Products for ArcSight (acquired by Hewlett Packard), with global responsibility for product management, product marketing and business development. His industry experience also includes product leadership stints at NetScreen (acquired by Juniper Networks) and XO Communications.
• Alice Wang is responsible for customer success at Palerra, including all post-sales customer advocacy and management functions. She brings many years of client services experience, thought leadership, and industry expertise in information security and risk management with her contributions at PayPal, Gartner Inc., and at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP.
• Upa Hazarika brings a proven track record of success in technology marketing, thought leadership and product innovation to Palerra. She has served as Director of Product Management, Emerging Technologies at Zscaler, where she built and scaled the marketing function from inception, and brings several years of experience in various engineering and product management positions at SonicWALL, Inc., a Dell company.

This personnel news comes on the heels of the launch of LORIC, the only solution to automate security configuration management, threat detection, predictive analytics and incident response for an entire cloud footprint. Earlier this year Palerra announced an $8 million Series A round of funding from leading venture capital firms Norwest Venture Partners (NVP) and Wing Ventures, among others.
