NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwired) -- 12/22/14 -- wot.io™, which offers a data service exchange for the Internet of Things, held two demonstrations at the NYC Internet of Things Fair to showcase how businesses can accelerate time to market of industrial IoT appliances through wot.io's growing partner ecosystem.

In one demonstration wot.io showcased an Intelligent Product Solutions (IPS) connected device solution on the wot.io data service exchange using the Kinoma Create development platform. IPS is a leading product development organization creating IoT solutions including hardware, application level software and firmware development. Kinoma Create is a platform for prototyping connected devices that offers professional developers a clear path to mass product. Event attendees were able to view seamless integration with ApStrata as a Kinoma device management platform and data scripting service, with bip.io as a web automation platform for over 50 data services from the wot.io data service exchange.

"The wot.io operating environment is an ideal tool to harness the value of the Internet of Things. We are able to get applications up and running very quickly and then experiment with various data services to choose the right ones for production. Combining development capabilities with wot.io's data service exchange equips us to quickly develop solutions for our industrial, commercial, health services and consumer product customers, enabling them to benefit from their IoT data," said Mitch Maiman, CEO of Intelligent Product Solutions.

In a second demonstration, wot.io showcased real-time analytics and data monitoring with DataArt's Device Hive device management platform, elastic search data service and data from the Intel Edison connected device.

"We developed a full-fledged demo with wot.io in record time. By integrating wot.io with powerful tools such as elastic search and Kibana, and the features of the Device Hive platform, DataArt is able to quickly deliver powerful customized solutions to our customers," said Artyom Astafurov, DataArt, makers of the Device Hive platform.

"wot.io's operating environment is game changing for companies developing IoT solutions, as it enables rapid time to market and experimentation with various data services. Ultimately, this allows businesses to obtain actionable insights with their IoT data through third-party partners that are integrated into the wot.io operating environment," said Tom Gilley, chief technology officer of wot.io.
