PALO ALTO, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 07/15/14 -- TIBCO Software Inc. (NASDAQ: TIBX) today announced that equity awards were granted to new non-officer employees on July 15, 2014 under its Inducement Award Plan (the "Plan"). As described below, the grants were made to new employees of TIBCO hired during the second fiscal quarter. The Plan was originally adopted by the Board of Directors of TIBCO on April 9, 2013 in accordance with NASDAQ Marketplace Rule 5635(c)(4).

TIBCO granted a total of 77,615 shares of restricted stock to 73 employees under the Plan and granted restricted stock units representing a total of 13,250 shares of common stock to 40 employees under the Plan. All of the restricted stock and the restricted stock units vest over four years, with 50 percent of the restricted stock or restricted stock units vesting on July 15, 2016, 25 percent of the restricted stock or restricted stock units vesting on the one year anniversary thereof, and the remainder of the applicable award vesting on the two year anniversary thereof.
