LAWRENCE, MA -- (Marketwired) -- 06/19/14 -- Seven10 Storage Software has announced significant enhancements to its object storage data protection suite; StorFirst Back-Up EMC Edition (formerly StorFirst Altus) and StorFirst Back-Up Hitachi Edition (formerly StorFirst Apollo). Endorsed by Seven10 partners and end-users, StorFirst Back-Up offers a simpler and more cost effective software solution for replication and disaster recovery of both EMC Centera and Hitachi HCP object storage devices. StorFirst remains the only solution on the market that offers purpose-built replication of the content residing on these object repositories to tape, virtual tape and cloud storage.
