OSHAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 07/02/14 -- Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac dealers delivered 21,007 vehicles in June.

"In June, Cadillac retail sales increased 16 per cent, marking the 21st consecutive month of retail sales growth, driven by sales of the ATS and SRX. The all-new Escalade and ATS coupe will join the Cadillac line up this year offering customers a full range of luxury vehicles."

General Motors of Canada is offering an "employee pricing" program to customers on virtually all of its Chevrolet, Buick and GMC vehicles. The campaign features Canadian employees making their contribution to designing, building and selling the world's best vehicles and illustrates the dedication and quality of work that goes into all of our vehicles and technologies.

June 2014 Sales Highlights

--  Sales of the Chevrolet Volt were up 6.5 per cent for the month 
--  Sales of the Buick Encore were up 79 per cent for the month 
--  Sales of the all-new GMC Yukon were up 29 per cent for the month 
--  Total sales for Cadillac are up 19 per cent for the year driven largely
    by sales of the ATS, up 38 per cent, and the SRX, up 13 per cent

Total GM Canada sales were down 15 per cent in June 2014.
