The new release features upgraded hardware powered by four Intel Xeon E7-8895 v2 series processors, customized by Intel for Oracle Engineered Systems. This processor has the ability to dynamically scale the frequency and number of cores with Oracle software to maximize performance to address business analytics workloads that require faster single threaded performance as well as large levels of parallelism.
