SUNNYVALE, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 10/02/13 -- Meru Networks (NASDAQ: MERU), a leader in Wi-Fi networking, has appointed longtime technology sales veteran Kevin Coppins as vice president of sales for North America. Coppins, who is based in Tampa, Fla., has served as the company's area vice president for the Southeast region and vice president of inside sales since June 2011. He previously held senior executive positions at Novell and Packard Bell NEC, Inc.

Coppins has 15 years of sales management experience in the software, desktop and networking industries. Prior to Meru, he most recently served as vice president of sales for identity and security in North America at Novell, Inc., driving product management, pricing and go-to-market decisions.
