FREMONT, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 07/30/14 -- BiTMICRO® Networks, Inc. today announced it will showcase the company's next-generation MAXio E-Series PCIe solid state drives (SSDs) in booth 727 at the Flash Memory Summit, August 5-7 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in California. In addition, they will discuss the benefits of deploying a new class of PCIe SSDs that deliver superior capacity, performance and reliability to support critical, high volume application workloads.
At the summit, BiTMICRO Vice President of Engineering Bharadwaj Pudipeddi and Vice President of Sales & Marketing Zophar Sante will examine the innovative technology powering the MAXio PCIe SSD line and the ability of this technology to help enterprises tackle many of their top challenges by dramatically enhancing application performance and greatly reducing data center costs.
The MAXio E-Series SSD line delivers PCIe class performance, enterprise reliability and high endurance, while offering the best capacity-per-watt among all PCIe SSDs. MAXio E-Series SSDs implement advanced flash management algorithms to handle inherent flash memory limitations, enabling the MAXio PCIe SSD line to have much higher capacity and endurance. This includes a dual-scale ASIC-based design, unique spanning garbage collection, sophisticated dynamic wear leveling, and advanced techniques to reduce write amplification. It is ideally suited for enterprise applications with heavy load demands including video-on-demand, video streaming, in-memory analytics, non-linear editing, gaming, file servers, web applications and cloud services.
"The implications of slow or non-responsive mission-critical applications can mean the difference between a strong, growing company and one that is struggling to satisfy customer needs, or keep pace with its competitors," said Zophar Sante, Vice President of Sales & Marketing, BiTMICRO. "We look forward to the opportunity to discuss how IT professionals can leverage today's innovations in flash technology, balance business and IT requirements with high performance and high capacity PCIe SSDs, and meet the burgeoning application demands for enterprises today and for the long-term."
The Flash Memory Summit is the only conference dedicated entirely to flash memory and its applications. The Summit features half-day tutorials, workshops, paper and panel sessions, keynotes, roundtables, special sessions, and exhibits. Subjects include hardware, software, design methods, consumer applications, embedded applications, computer and communications applications, alternative technologies, programming methods, testing, standards, and market research.
