EDISON, NJ -- (Marketwired) -- 08/07/14 -- The appointment of Jean-Luc Major to Canadian Partner Specialist for Star Micronics America, Inc. was announced at the Sales & Partner Conference held in Edison, New Jersey by Christine Duffy, Senior Sales Director for Star Micronics America, Inc.

In his new role, Major will be responsible for growing Star's presence in Canada. He will also spearhead Star's efforts to build business through the channel by participating in partner events, educating solution providers on Star's products, and managing all opportunities both new and existing.
