Amika Mobile's Amika Mobility Server (AMS) for critical and emergency communications platform has been selected as a finalist and can be voted the People's Choice Award for ASIS 2014 because of its new Amika® Situation Commander module. The new AMS module allows 2-way alert tracking for thousands of users during emergencies over voice calls, Pop-ups, Email, etc. Amika Mobile will be demonstrating Situation Commander and its new STENTOFON Intercom integration at ASIS 2014.
"It is exciting to have been selected as a finalist for Accolades because of our product's innovative features and its integration with physical systems for Access Control and SIP paging like STENTOFON so that our customers may use it for a wide range of targeted critical and emergency situations," said Amika Mobile CEO Dr. Sue Abu-Hakima.
The AMS enables situational awareness, information sharing, rapid 2-way communications across devices and networks, and control through advanced integration with physical security to issue lockdowns or turn on strobe lights, etc. AMS can trigger any of 20 plus layers of alerts to VoIP, SMS, Pop-ups, web, overhead monitors, digital signs, twitter, tickers, etc. based on sensor events from access control, fire panels, camera systems, building automation, government agency or weather alerting feeds, panic buttons, etc.
"We are proud of this new partnership and integration with Amika Mobile. STENTOFON works at the intersection of two domains - IP communications and security and safety, said Dan Rothrock, Senior Vice President OEM Global Sales. It is imperative to have integrations to high level technology companies like Amika Mobile so we can expand our solution offerings."
Market Analysts Research and Markets estimate the size of the emergency management and incident management market to be $69.47 Billion growing to $93.39 Billion by 2018 at an estimated CAGR of 6%. This market includes critical and emergency communications integrated with physical security systems for access control and paging such as those that AMS supports.
Demonstrations of the AMS, STENTOFON integration, Amika® Situation Commander critical and emergency capabilities and Amika®Panic Mobile apps will be showcased at the 60th international industrial security professionals' tradeshow, ASIS 2014 from September 29 to October 2 in Atlanta, Georgia at booth #1311 Partner Command Center.
Amika® Situation Commander is a candidate for ASIS People's Choice Accolades award. You can make sure it wins by voting at the Accolades Showcase at the venue and on the 2014 ASIS mobile app. Voting opens Sept. 29 and ends Sept 30.
