Gupta will boost market presence and further strengthen the company's leadership position in the data management, Big Data and cloud services brokerage (CSB) markets.

The expansion of Liaison's executive team comes on the heels of rapid year-over-year revenue growth, solution expansion and a strategic investment from Accenture. The innovation behind Liaison's data solutions was also widely recognized by the analyst community, including Gartner, which positioned the company as a leader in its prestigious 2014 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Integration Brokerage. The cloud services brokerage category as a whole is on the fast track, with revenue from CSB sales expected to quadruple by the end of 2015.

Prior to joining Liaison, Gupta was vice president of marketing and business development at San Jose-based Symmetricom, where he played a key role in the Nasdaq listed company's acquisition for a significant premium over the then current market valuation. Gupta has led global marketing teams and has helped companies scale through brand development, strategic planning, efficient portfolio management, creative demand generation programs and revenue driving alliances.
