IRVINE, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 04/29/13 -- Solarflare, the leading provider of application-intelligent networking I/O, today announced that two company executives will speak at The 21st IEEE International Symposium on Field-Programmable Custom Computing Machines (FCCM) and the Low-Latency Summit.
Dave Parry, vice president development, security products, will speak at FCCM to discuss Solarflare's ApplicationOnload Engine (AOE). The AOE is an Open platform for application development for reconfigurable computing that promises to be of the most exciting developments at the symposium. Parry will speak during Solarflare's University Program Breakfast to discuss Solarflare's firmware development kit (FDK) and the company's AOE University Program, announced last Fall.
Davor Frank, senior solutions architect, will speak on a panel at Low-Latency Summit to discuss software and hardware techniques for application acceleration for scale out computing. Frank will join executives from Low-Latency.com, Altera, Dell, Intilop and Supermicro on how low-latency meets cloud and big data is playing out.

About Dave Parry
Dave Parry joins Solarflare with extensive experience managing teams that design and bring to market high-performance server and networking products. Previously, he served in a variety of executive roles at SGI leading engineering and business management efforts for server and storage products. Most recently Parry was senior vice president at SGI responsible for product strategy and roadmap, engineering, marketing and business management for SGI's server product line and applications/performance engineering. Prior to SGI, Parry held various engineering and management positions in microprocessor and computer systems design at MIPS Computer Systems and Hewlett-Packard. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Davor Frank is a Senior Solutions Architect at Solarflare Communications. Having joined in October of 2011, he brings to Solarflare over a decade of experience in Investment Banking technology. Davor is currently responsible for application and systems consulting, providing architecture guidance to customers looking to implement Solarflare technologies in their low latency trading infrastructure. Previously, Davor had worked as a systems engineer at Deutsche Bank, more recently focusing on design, implementation and operational support of ultra-low latency systems.
