SAN JOSE, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 08/11/14 -- A10 Networks (NYSE: ATEN), a technology leader in application networking, announced today that its founder and CEO Lee Chen has been named to the prestigious 2014 CRN Top 100 list. CRN's annual Top 100 list salutes the key players who continue to shape the way the channel does business. These 100 leaders, hand-picked by the CRN Editorial staff, represent the top influencers, sales leaders, innovators and disruptors in the IT channel.
The CRN Top 100 list is based on feedback gathered from technology solution providers throughout the year by CRN editors with rankings reflecting each company's channel influence, effectiveness and visibility, along with its business and sales impact on the IT channel. Among the criteria considered are channel sales volume, channel investment and resources, and channel advocacy.
Lee Chen is a serial technology entrepreneur with a track record of founding or co-founding three successful startups: Centillion Networks, Foundry Networks and A10 Networks. Foundry and A10 went public, while Centillion was acquired by Bay Networks in 1995. His most recent success, A10 Networks, was founded in late 2004. Under Chen's leadership, A10 made a significant investment and priority of expanding channel sales and marketing resources, which has created substantial revenue potential with partners. The new A10 Affinity Partner Program, designed to motivate and reward A10's channel partners who sell the company's application networking products, is now rolling out internationally. Through this program, A10 channel partners have what they need to participate in the multi-billion dollar high-growth application networking market.
"I'm truly honored to be on the 2014 CRN Top 100 list," said Lee Chen, A10 Networks founder and CEO. "It's really a meaningful recognition because our channel partners are such an integral part of our business. A10 Networks thrives on listening to our partners and bringing innovative, game-changing technology to the channel. I've never been more excited about working with our partners on expanding the opportunities ahead."
"The CRN Top 100 list is the 'Who's Who' of the IT channel," said Robert Faletra, CEO of The Channel Company. "Each individual on this list has left an indelible stamp on the IT channel this year. Some are industry veterans with innovative leadership styles. Others are rising stars who have demonstrated a deep commitment to the channel. All deserve recognition for helping push the channel forward toward new market opportunities."
The CRN Top 100 honorees will be featured in the August issue of CRN, the top news source for solution providers and the IT channel, and will be available online at www.crn.com.
