DETROIT, MI -- (Marketwired) -- 02/03/14 -- Detroit-based LevelEleven, a leader in sales gamification, invites sales managers, coaches, executives and thought leaders to join a complimentary webinar featuring tips and tricks to effective sales coaching from former NBA star Jamal Mashburn. The webinar is taking place on Wednesday, February 5th beginning at 2pm EST.
As a former NBA star who has transitioned to successful entrepreneur, Mashburn makes the correlation between the competitive fire that drives professional athletes, to how gamification software and running sales contests inspire competition in the business world. During this webinar "The Sales Coach's Clipboard," Mashburn will combine lessons learned on the basketball court to best practices in business, specifically sales. Topics will include motivating a sales team, having flexibility throughout competitions, understanding training needs across the board, and coaching an effective sales approach.
"Why ask Jamal Mashburn to lead a webinar on sales coaching?" said Bob Marsh, CEO of LevelEleven. "Aside from Mashburn's business and entrepreneurial expertise, he knows first hand how the competitive nature that drives athletes can be applied to sales to engage and motivate employees. And that's exactly what LevelEleven aims to do; inspire sales reps to focus on the right things by leveraging competitions."
"The Sales Coach's Clipboard" kicks off a series of 2014 educational webinars hosted and led by LevelEleven. While sales gamification is gaining traction in the market, there continue to be misconceptions on how to best leverage gamification theory and software amongst sales reps. In addition to instructional webinars, in 2014 LevelEleven hopes to help educate the market on this topic by rolling out an entire library of informative content and resources.
