SAN FRANCISCO, CA and DUBLIN, IRELAND -- (Marketwire) -- 06/27/12 -- Engine Yard, the leading Platform as a Service (PaaS), today announced it has expanded its EMEA operations and appointed Bridget Gleason as VP Sales, EMEA. In her new role, Gleason will continue to build the company's presence in the EMEA region and is responsible for supporting the growing Engine Yard customer base and establishing new partnerships.

Gleason joins the Engine Yard EMEA team after two years as VP Sales of the Americas for Engine Yard where she focused on helping customers to learn about the benefits of running applications in the cloud and successfully deploying on the Engine Yard PaaS in order to grow their businesses. Gleason built strong relationships with customers by helping them get the most out of working with Engine Yard through sales, support and professional services. She previously served as Director of Business Development at Tap In Systems, where she was responsible for sales and creating partner relationships, and has also held sales and business development roles at BLG Consulting Group, Akasha Group, and Dagaz Solutions. Gleason was also founder and president of Summit Group Consulting.
