Customers who have implemented AtHoc for CUCM include the headquarters of the US Patent & Trademark Office, the US Department of Energy's Hanford nuclear site, select Department of Defense organizations and a variety of global commercial enterprises.
AtHoc networked crisis communication platform is a secure cloud-based service empowering organizations to communicate and collaborate within and across each other in times of crisis. With Cisco IP phones in wide use among public and private sector organizations, this initiative expands AtHoc's ability to help enterprises leverage their CUCM infrastructure to keep their personnel and visitors safe. Supporting both IP-connected devices and legacy models, the systems delivers clear and up-to-date information about critical events to Cisco phones by voice, text and video. Critical message can take over the screen and speaker of an IP-Phone and provide compelling visual and audio alerts. Additionally, AtHoc-enabled Cisco VoIP phones are interactive, giving recipients the ability to reply to messages for real-time personnel status reporting.
"Cisco phones are among the most widely used communication devices in the world, and in the context the Internet-of-Things (IoT), expanding AtHoc technology to these devices enables customers to protect their personnel and business operations," said Sanjay Saini, AtHoc Senior Vice President. "Cisco customers now can take full advantage of the advanced capabilities we offer, delivering critical alerts through a variety of channels without having to rip and replace devices in which they have heavily invested."
