MONTREAL, QUEBEC -- (Marketwired) -- 08/06/13 -- Peak Positioning Technologies Inc. ("Peak" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: PKK) reviewed its 2013 objectives and today announced the target date for the beta launch of its AiNi mobile cloud platform in China.
2013 Business Plan Objectives
Peak has established four milestones to be reached by year end in order to position itself for success in 2014 and beyond:
-- Acquire LongKey Hong Kong Limited ("LongKey"), in order to add an
important revenue stream and secure access to the Chinese market;
-- Raise a total of US $4 million in capital to fund the Company's growth
up to, and following, the LongKey acquisition;
-- Enter into an agreement with a North American based telecom provider for
the distribution of AiNi, and;
-- Officially launch AiNi pre-installed on China Unicom smart devices
in Guangdong province.
Most of the Company's efforts and resources will be devoted to achieving these four milestones between now and the end of 2013.
AiNi App Store Beta Launch Date Set
Peak and LongKey also today announced that they have set August 28, 2013 as the beta launch date for their jointly developed AiNi mobile cloud platform on Chinese app stores.
The app store beta release is an important step on the way to the official launch of AiNi on China Unicom smart devices in Guangdong province. Peak and LongKey will use the beta period to demonstrate the commercial potential of AiNi and obtain valuable feedback to make product enhancements and/or add new product features to the platform prior to the full commercial release.
AiNi is a mobile platform that enhances the mobile devices' operating systems. It was equally designed for the benefit of consumers and mobile network providers. The platform is marketed to mobile network providers as a way to improve mobile subscriber retention and acquisition and increase network efficiency. AiNi comes with a suite of applications that include: instant messaging (IM) aggregation, group chat and file sharing, data synchronization, automated device configuration, and several security features. The free beta version of AiNi, being released later this month as an application download on three of China's top app stores, will provide users with some of the platform's base features, such as data synchronization and group IM, while other features will be held back until the full commercial release.
