SANTA ANA, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 11/04/14 -- Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE: IM) today announced it has been recognized by the editors of CRN Magazine, for exceptional leadership, success and cloud partner program excellence.
Ingram Micro's Executive Director Bill Brandel and Executive Director Eric Kohl were named to CRN's list of "100 People You Don't Know But Should." This annual list recognizes the unsung executives that work tirelessly to create, promote and manage the programs and policies that support the continued success of the IT channel.
Brandel and Kohl are credited with growing Ingram Micro's Advanced Computing and Advanced Technology Divisions and forging strategic relationships with today's leading and emerging vendors within high-profile categories such as big data, networking, security, and virtualization. The "100 People You Don't Know But Should" list is featured in the October issue of CRN and can be viewed online at www.crn.com.
Ingram Micro's new Cloud Elevate Partner Program was also named to the inaugural CRN Cloud Partner Program Guide. This new guide offers solution providers a valuable resource for locating and exploring the IT industry's top cloud technologies, programs and offerings, and a way to connect with leading cloud organizations to improve their business. Introduced in July 2014, the Ingram Micro Cloud Elevate Program is already being used by nearly 1,000 channel partners. The Cloud Partner Program Guide is featured in the October issue of CRN and can be viewed online at www.crn.com.
According to Robert Faletra, CEO of The Channel Company, publisher of CRN each cloud provider and vendor noted by the CRN editors has been chosen based on its robust cloud partner program, as well as the unique and enthusiastic ways in which it has embraced the channel as a go-to-market strategy.
"It's rewarding to see our executives and channel programs recognized by CRN as industry-leading," says Paul Bay, president, North America, Ingram Micro Technology Solutions.
