SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 10/16/13 -- SpringCM® today announced significant momentum from enterprises jointly adopting SpringCM's Content Cloud Services and partner applications including Adobe® EchoSign®'s e-signature and web contracting solution to modernize contract execution.
Enterprises need to make the contract management process as efficient as possible, from contract creation to signature and from storing to retrieval. This is extremely challenging as many enterprises are mired in resource-intensive, complex workflows that can regularly delay contract execution. For example, industry analysts estimate that most sales organizations today spend nearly one-fifth of the sales cycle emailing, faxing and calling about contracts. Meanwhile the number of agreements, contracts and other signed documents with customers, partners and employees is increasing every year. Today, enterprises need to shift contract management from manual, paper-based processes to automated, end-to-end processes in the cloud.
To streamline agreement execution, SpringCM integrates with EchoSign to make it easy for enterprises to make the shift to a comprehensive contract management solution. SpringCM customers leverage EchoSign for e-signature with no configuration effort on the customer's part. Enterprises can easily send a document for electronic signature, select recipients and track responses. SpringCM and EchoSign are both accessible from any computer, smartphone, or tablet, including the ability to seamlessly create, share, edit, execute and archive contracts and agreement from a mobile device.
To date, more than 120 SpringCM customers have executed more than 80,000 e-signature transactions with EchoSign, primarily around significant revenue generating activities such as sales and services contracts and new employee agreements.
"NCR's channel business and the NCR Interact Global Partner Program are critical to our company's growth strategy. We have fundamentally redesigned and modernized the channel operations worldwide with the help of SpringCM and EchoSign," said Mark Sisco, Director of Channel Operations at NCR Corporation. "Rather than drowning in contract administration, we're now able to focus on growing our program and leveraging our innovative technology solutions to expand revenue opportunities with new and existing partners. SpringCM and EchoSign have enabled us to work faster, be more efficient and provide an exceptional partner-facing contract experience."
"Finalizing customer contracts, partnership agreements and employee offer letters is often painful," said Ben Kiker, CMO at SpringCM. "The combination of multiple parties, email, and document revisions needed to cross the finish line creates a perfect storm of frustration for all involved. Re-architecting the contracts process is a must for enterprises looking to close more deals on time, capture more revenue and engage partners and new employees faster. We're excited to work with EchoSign and other SpringCM partners to help companies like NCR redesign how they go from 'won' to 'done' faster, more efficiently and more securely."
