Mr. Olson, a proven industry and military veteran with 25 years of success, will lead strategic growth initiatives across all EdgeWave teams.

Mr. Olson joins EdgeWave from BMC Software, where he served as Geo Vice President of North America West, Federal, Latin America and Inside Sales. During his tenure at BMC, Mr. Olson led a team of over 300 individuals in delivering record sales growth for the company. Prior to BMC Software, Mr. Olson has held senior executive sales leadership roles at Juniper Networks, Blue Coat Systems, and Sun Microsystems, delivering excellence and business growth at all organizations. Prior to joining the private sector, Mr. Olson had a successful career as an officer with the US Air Force, serving in Desert Storm, and culminating as Advisor to the Director of Air Combat Command (ACC) Intelligence, where he spearheaded the ACC Intelligence Quality Program, ensuring flawless execution in the collection, analysis and delivery of critical military intelligence in the service of national security. He stands ready to serve EdgeWave's commercial and government customer base.

In this role leading Sales & Operations at EdgeWave, Mr. Olson will be responsible for strategic sales planning and execution, managing a global team of sales and support personnel, and spearheading go-to-market initiatives in support of new EdgeWave EPIC2 Military-Grade cyber security solutions targeted for businesses. EdgeWave EPIC2 is EdgeWave's highly advanced cyber security capability that combines both artificial and human intelligence with Military-Grade cyber operations to help protect businesses against even the most sophisticated threats.

Mr. Olson holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the United States Air Force Academy, where he graduated with Military Honors and was selected to Wing Staff (Top 5 ranking cadets out of 4,500 at the Academy), and earned a Masters in Public Administration from Troy State University-European Region, where he graduated with Honors (Pi Alpha Alpha Society).
