Phillips has more than 20 years' experience in technology sales, running direct and indirect channels and OEM.

Phillips most recently served as vice president with Fusion-io, which was acquired by SanDisk. At Fusion-io, he led sales, spanning all aspects of software and hardware solutions. Before Fusion-io, he was vice president of worldwide sales for ioTurbine, which was acquired by Fusion-io.

Prior to that, he was a director at Dell, via Dell's acquisition of EqualLogic, where he was regional vice president of sales. Phillips also has worked at NetApp, Boston Scientific and PepsiCo.

Phillips holds a B.S. in business administration from the University of Arizona.
