SEATTLE, WA -- (Marketwire) -- 07/09/12 -- Daptiv, the on-demand leader in project portfolio management software, today announced the opening of its first European data centre located in the Netherlands to accommodate customer demand for the company's SaaS-based PPM software. Daptiv also announced the Telecom and Integrated Applications (TIA) directorate of the European Space Agency (ESA) has expanded its Daptiv PPM subscription, and will be the first customer of the new data centre in Amsterdam.

In related news, Daptiv is expanding its presence in the United Kingdom and has opened an office in London's Holborn area. The office is comprised primarily of sales, support and professional services personnel and enables Daptiv to better serve its growing customer base in the region. Mark Dallimore, Director for Daptiv in the UK, will oversee operations for the office. Dallimore has worked exclusively in the PPM software sector for the last seven years. He has more than 18 years of experience creating and executing go-to-market strategies in both direct and indirect sales throughout many varied geographies and cultures. Dallimore has served previously with Systems Union, Serena Software and AtTask.

The new data centre location is a significant investment for Daptiv, as it represents a strategic commitment to the region with an advanced facility that is ISO 27001:2005 certified. Daptiv is the first cloud-based provider to offer an EMEA-based data centre and as a longtime Daptiv customer, ESA will be the first to benefit from the new facility.
