SAN FRANCISCO, CA and ATLANTA, GA -- (Marketwired) -- 06/28/13 -- TokBox, a Telefónica Digital company, has won the Best WebRTC Tool Award for its OpenTok Platform.
The OpenTok Platform allows the development and management of commercial face-to-face applications, embeddable in any website or service. TokBox unveiled a series of world-first advances at the WebRTC Conference and Expo that extend WebRTC into an enterprise-grade technology for video communication applications for the first time. The announcements included:
Ian Small, TokBox CEO: "This industry recognition is a great endorsement of the direction we have taken, and also the strength and vision of the WebRTC community. With OpenTok, we now the building-blocks for developers and enterprises to develop commercial applications."
