SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 05/07/15 -- Zoomdata, developers of the world's fastest big data exploration, visualization and analytics solution, today announced the appointment of three technology industry veterans to the executive team as the company ramps up explosive growth, recording 285% ARR bookings growth over the nine months ending April 30, 2015 compared to the prior nine-month period. The company appointed Robert Aldrich Chief Financial Officer, Tom Ulrich as Vice President of Global Sales and Nick Halsey as Chief Marketing Officer. Each will report to Zoomdata CEO Justin Langseth.

In less than two years, Zoomdata has signed more than 25 enterprise customers and raised $22 million in venture funding. Zoomdata was recently named by Northern Virginia Technology Council as their Tech Company of the Year. The firm was also recognized by the Association for Corporate Growth National Capital as the Venture Deal of the Year.

Aldrich joined Zoomdata from Microsoft. Prior to that he served at CFO at NFR Security and Parature (acquired by Microsoft in 2014). Previously he served in executive finance roles at Deloitte & Touche, BioVeris and Best Software/Sage Software. He holds a BA in Business and Accounting from Penn State.

Before joining Zoomdata, Halsey served as Chief Marketing Officer at Keynote Systems and SugarCRM. Prior to that he held vice president executive roles at Alphablox, Apple, Brio Software and Jaspersoft. He is the co-founder of Biz360 and holds a BA in Political Science from Stanford University.

Ulrich comes to Zoomdata from Actian where he served as SVP of Global Sales. Prior to that he was vice president of North American Sales at GridPoint. He began his software career at Intuit before joining Serena Software and then MicroStrategy. He holds an MBA from George Washington University and a BA in Business/Marketing from Nazareth College of Rochester.
