Steele will report to EdgeWave President Dave Maquera.

Steele brings over 20 years of executive sales management and business development experience to his new position, most recently as Chief Revenue Officer for Softrax. Prior to that Steele served as Senior Vice President of Sales for Lumigent, where he was instrumental in their successful acquisition by BeyondTrust, an Internet security company. Steele's career also includes extensive experience with high-growth SaaS and outsourcing companies including SoundBite, where he drove revenue growth that culminated in a successful IPO and Enterprise Associates, one of the nation's largest outsourcing/SaaS firms, where he doubled revenue. Steele's longtime industry experience also includes senior management roles at Parametric Technology, where he served as Senior Vice President of Americas Indirect Channel as well as Vice President of North America and Europe Inside Sales. Steele holds a B.S. degree in Economics and Finance from Bentley University.
