STERLING, VA -- (Marketwired) -- 05/21/13 -- abas-USA hosted the annual User's Conference in Sterling, VA from May 8-10. The three-day event was an opportunity for the abas-USA and ABAS Software AG team to showcase new functionality, features and developments to the software package. Additionally, existing clients presented innovations and implementations to their custom software.

Alexander Schwarz, International Project Coordinator from ABAS Software AG, presented version 2013 and the newest updates and additions to the software package. Jürgen Nöding, CTO from ABAS Software AG, conducted a Q&A session to discuss development requests and future projects.

Over the course of three days, many topics were presented, including: New abas functionality for EDI, shipping planning, and packaging planning; New financial integration version 5 (FININ 5) -- an easier and faster way to manage transactions; Information on process and implications for changing valuation methods; New functionality and techniques for abas Document Management Solution; New SIMCRON functionality for advanced planning and scheduling, and shop floor simulations; Business Intelligence in abas -- powered by Palo; and New functionality from abas in finance.

Additionally, several customers spoke about successful projects, including Brad Strathe from Kasa Fabrication on Cost Accounting Developments; Alex Kris from Q-Tech on innovations and developments; Gail Anderson from Moroso Performance Products on implementing eBusiness, and Atlatl, and a state-of-the-art configuration tool integrated to abas ERP by Rob Honeycutt. Several software partners presented as well, including Avalara, DigitalShipper, and ProCad.
