SendGrid is available for purchase for first generation Cloud Servers and Cloud Servers powered by OpenStack® through the enhanced Cloud Tools Marketplace from Rackspace (NYSE: RAX), the service leader in cloud computing. This marketplace will serve as a gateway to an open ecosystem of cloud solutions, which will give customers seamless access to a broad range of tools that support Rackspace open cloud.

Additionally, through the marketplace, customers can now browse, review and connect to a breadth of cloud solutions focused on management, monitoring, application deployment, email management and a host of other areas. By leveraging OpenStack and developing solutions specifically for Rackspace open cloud, SendGrid provides increased flexibility for customers and helps them avoid vendor lock-in.

Rackspace customers can now add SendGrid's cloud email infrastructure service to eliminate the cost and complexity of maintaining email servers in-house. SendGrid's SMTP and API integration options enable developers to send and receive emails directly from their web and mobile applications. SendGrid is free for Rackspace customers sending less than 40,000 emails per month. For higher email volumes, paid plans start at $80 per month.
