MANCHESTER, NH -- (Marketwire) -- 08/06/12 -- Scribe reports biggest quarter in company's history as long-term investments in cloud connectors, CRM integrations, increased ISV partner adoption and expanding into international markets continues to pay off.
The strong product portfolio attracted 38 new partners in Q2, including 21 in the U.S. and 17 in EMEA. Scribe also garnered significant industry awards, winning the CODiE award for "Best Cloud Application/Service" and selected as one of the AlwaysOn Top 250 Global Companies.
SPARK Program Attracts Key Partners
The rollout of the SPARK Solution Developer Program in early 2012 is attracting significant attention from partners and ISVs, including:
"The phenomenal growth we are experiencing is extremely gratifying, and a testament to all the hard work that everyone on the Scribe team has put into building products that are so much in demand," said Lou Guercia, president and CEO of Scribe. "We are hearing back from our partners, both in the U.S. and internationally, about how much they appreciate the way that Scribe is addressing what have been major 'pain points' in their businesses. And now that the public sector is embracing us, we look forward to serving them the same way."
Public Sector Market Heats Up
Even with all this success, the future for Scribe may be even brighter, as massive public sector agencies are starting to turn to SaaS based solutions to solve the federal cloud-first policy mandate.
On the state and local level, budget-cutting mandates have put pressure on municipalities to scale back or completely outsource their data centers, and to start employing CRM solutions to continue providing services to employees and the public. Government agencies such as the Howard County, MD, California State Lottery, Los Angeles County Public Health Agency, and the West Virginia Office of Technology have already adopted Scribe to integrate their CRM data.
One of the biggest challenges for public-sector agencies has been that they have either not realized the cost savings offered by moving to the cloud, or their security concerns have kept them on-premise. However, the industry-wide virtualization trends have finally penetrated the government market, helped at least in part by the increasing adoption of Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
34% Growth in EMEA, Despite Economic Uncertainties
Starting in 2009, Scribe made a long-term, strategic investment in growing its presence in international markets, opening an office in The Hague, Netherlands. Despite the ongoing economic crisis in Europe, Scribe grew 34% in the SMB sector in the first half of 2012, up 21% overall when compared with the same period of 2011, and added people to support partners and customers.
The silver lining of the regional austerity conditions has been that businesses and municipalities in Europe are under pressure to do more with less. They are turning to technology to manage their customer or citizen information more efficiently, allowing them to provide superior service with integrated CRM.
Time schedules have also been a real sticking point, as organizations are asked to justify their investments in shorter periods of time. Scribe has allowed them to deploy integrated CRM solutions on or ahead of schedule, with minimal IT manpower resources required.
