SAN RAMON, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 08/28/12 -- xMatters inc., the relevance engine company, today announced Jule Zacher has been promoted to the senior management role of Vice President of Consulting. Zacher brings over 15 years of IT consulting experience to her new position as well as a strong foundation in client interaction.

Zacher joined xMatters in 2007 as a Senior Consultant, bringing her experience in managing large IT deployments, process, and client management skills. Her experience has helped her manage the largest xMatters on premises and on demand implementations and her leadership has helped xMatters evolve into the company it is today.

Zacher has spent her career consulting with a strong back ground in database design and search engines, most recently at Verity, where she handled the NYC region. Her clients included financial, utilities, manufacturing, news and other large enterprises where relevant content was critical to their business. Zacher also managed large professional services deployment teams with a strong focus on usability, working with clients on gathering their requirements and fulfilling their business goals.

Growing up in a fifth generation family shoe business, dinner conversations at the Zacher house were about client interactions -- how to treat people right and how good it felt to listen to a customer and help them. Zacher was able to take this strong foundation of client satisfaction and start her consulting career, however she's continued to be involved with the family shoe business too -- and still enjoys being on the floor, fitting and talking with customers. Zacher graduated from Principia College and holds a degree Computer Science.
