ISO 27001 certification is awarded by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), and requires that companies methodically examine account threats, liabilities, and potential systems impacts. These best-in-class companies then create and implement a wide-ranging collection of controls to address intolerable risks. ISO 27001 certification requires that a company adopts best-practice processes to manage all risks and actions, and meet the organization's security needs on an ongoing basis. ISO 27001 is internationally recognized as the standard for information security management systems, identifying, managing, and minimizing an array of information security threats.

This accreditation adds to the company's existing SAS 70 and U.S.-EU Safe Harbor certifications within its commercial sector.
